angelina evan o'sullivan YOU'VE GOT THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS YOU'RE THE KINDA GIRLW HO CAN TAKE DOWN A MAN AND LIFT HIM BACK UP AGAIN YOU ARE STRONG BUT YOU'RE NEEDY HUMBLE BUT YOU'RE GREEDY AND BASED ON YOUR BODY LANGUAGE AND SHODDY CURSIVE I'VE BEEN READING YOUR STYLE IS QUITE SELECTIVE THOUGH YOUR MIND IS RATHER RECKLESS WELL I GUESS IT JUST SUGGESTS THAT THIS IS JUST WHAT HAPPINESS IS. you should know by now that my name is angelina evan o'sullivan, but please call me angie. i like it much better! although my fake i.d. says differently, i'm really twenty-one. cool, huh? i guess i could be classified as a resident, but i prefer not to be labeled. i grew up in the beautiful city of chicago, illinois, but i certainly like this town much more! want to know how i act? two words can sum me up: manipulative and naive. yeah, i'm pretty amazing, aren't i? some say i look just like leighton meester, though i can't see it! jealous? i know. Mr. Gerald O'Sullivan and Mrs. Eleanor O'Sullivan were married in a beautiful ceremony in the country of Ireland after a whirlwind two month long engagement. They had met while the well-known heiress from Chicago, Eleanor Hayes, was taking a vacation with her sister in the Old Country, and Gerald, having lived there all his life and Irish to the core, fell instantly in love with her when she happened across the pub that he was working at in Dublin. They courted each other for two months and decided that they could wait no longer to be wedded. They were an unlikely couple; Gerald being boisterous, loud, obnoxious and somewhat oblivious, and Eleanor being quiet, elegant, and softspoken. Not to mention insanely wealthy.
But Gerald didn't marry Eleanor for her money. The Irish place value on different sorts of things. He was simply astounded that such a beautiful woman could love him and had agreed to marry him. They lived happily in Ireland for several years after their marriage, until one day Eleanor begged Gerald to move to the United States with her, to her home city of Chicago, Illinois. She loved Ireland but felt intensely homesick for that city. So they moved back to where Eleanor was a known socialite. Gerald felt immediately out of place, but soon after he was everybody's favorite Irish man. He made friends left and right and was soon just as content in Chicago as he was in Ireland, although they went back frequently to visit and see his family.
Eight years and a few days after they got married, Eleanor discovered that she was pregnant. They had never really talked about having children, and to be honest it came quite out of the blue. Eleanor seemed to be in a state of shock throughout most of her pregnancy, but nobody was more delighted than Gerald, and he fell in love with the dark-eyed baby girl the moment she was placed into his arms. Angelina Evan was born into life of privilege, that's to be sure. Her parents loved each other, they loved her, and to top it all off, they were wealthy. Angie had the best childhood that any girl could ask for.
She grew up with her street smarts, as is necessary to live in Chicago, and she grew very close to her father. Angie still considers Gerald her best friend. It's not that she doesn't love her mother or anything, but loving her father was just always so much... easier. Eleanor was always more reserved and caught up in busines affairs. But who couldn't love an adorably oblivious Irish father who treated her like a princess? The name "Angelina" means queen, and although it was never their intention, her parents certainly treated her like one and ended up spoiling her quite immensely, always having her parents' credit cards when she asked and always being chauffered around by her own private limo.
After graduating from a private secondary school in Chicago with stellar grades (thanks to elite private tutors), Angelina went off to college in New York City, the Big Apple, at Columbia University. Angie's parents weren't set on exactly which college their daugher should attend, but Eleanor was firm that her daughter would get an Ivy League education, and Angie chose the school in New York all by herself. Only a few months into her first semester, Angelina started dating someone. Her parents should have sensed trouble from the start. He was an older, dark, handsome musician who had quite the air of mystery about him that drew Angie in.
They dated for nearly three years, her working on her studies at Columbia in the area of journalism, and he trying to become a famous musician. Angelina was head over heels in love and convinced they were going to get married. So you can imagine it came as quite a heavy blow when he cheated on her and consequently broke up with her after three years together. Angelina's heart and world were completely shattered. She dropped out of Columbia and moved to Canada with hardly a word to her parents. She has now been residing in Halifax for about three months, and is trying to avoid being close to anyone. Although she is working as a journalist, she can't get the really elite jobs she wants since she never finished her Ivy League education and does not have a college degree.
now i can establish the basics about me. my name is katie and i'm currently eighteen. i've been roleplaying for three or four years, but i'm a professional already. you should probably know that i live in the mountain timezone, in case you need to know when i will be on. if you need to contact me, you can do so on personal message. be sure to plot with me soon!
